Team
Unlike most audio branding agencies, our creative process prioritizes research.
Because we don’t make background music: we design sounds that enlist listeners to respond in specific ways.
To do that, we rely on combined expertise in the fields of sound studies, psychoacoustics, music therapy, well-being, digital media, and audio production. Our team of 5 holds Masters and Doctorates from New York University, Rutgers, and Oxford, in addition to decades of audio production experience in studios and challenging field environments. Before designing any sound structures for clients, we lay a foundation of research to build on, while continuing to scaffold research throughout our creative audio branding process until completion.

Jordan, Founder
Composer / PhD
Jordan is a conservatory-trained instrumentalist and a composer who has soloed with major orchestras and performed in concert halls in the US and throughout Europe. As a sound studies researcher, he holds two Masters Degrees and a PhD from New York University, writing his doctoral dissertation on the emergence of modern listening practices. Previously, he managed Harvard Business School Club of New York’s consultancy which provided $350 million yearly in pro bono consulting services.
“I gave up playing music — even listening to it — until I could love it again. Becoming a composer was never part of the plan. It happened more by accident than by design, 12 years into my journey away from music.”
